Caroline Bonó has over 15 years of experience in the corporate, regulatory, compliance and labor law practice areas, and is also one of the leading tax practitioners in the country according to legal publications.

  • Caroline has vast experience advising national and multinational companies in financings, corporate restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, development of tax strategies and defending regulated legal entities before the Dominican tax authorities.

    She is an active member of the National Council of Tax Consultants (CONACI) and is on the Board of Directors of Remax Dominicana.

    Caroline is ranked as a Band 2 lawyer by Chambers and Partners and as Highly Regarded by World Tax for her Tax practice. She is also noted by the Legal 500 in Tax and Real Estate & Tourism.

    Prior to joining the firm, Caroline was a partner at another major Dominican law firm and had also worked at one of the “Big 4” of audit and business consultancy in the tax and legal sectors for over 12 years.

    Caroline has a law degree from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra and a master’s degree in business law from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, Spain. In 2019, she obtained another master´s degree in International Taxation from De la Rioja University in Spain. She has also participated in executive programs such as "Tax Policy and Administration" from Harvard Kennedy School of Business and “Digital Business Strategy: Harnessing our Digital Future” at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
