August 21,2025
Our partner Urania Paulino, who also serves as Coordinator of the Legal Committee of the British Chamber of Commerce in the Dominican Republic (BRITCHAM), and Sebastian Linera, associate at Pellerano Nadal Law, attended the official launch of the 2025-2026 BRITCHAM Young Musician Of The Caribbean Award (YMoCA) on the evening of Wednesday, August 20, held at the residence of the British Ambassador, Dr. Carol Van Der Walt.
This event aims to promote classical music in the country and, at the same time, offer a high-level platform for young classical musicians from different Caribbean islands to have the opportunity to be evaluated by British judges and musicians and showcase their musical talents and skills. BRITCHAM supports musical training and part of its objectives is to have a cultural exchange with the United Kingdom.
