Ricardo Pellerano Nadal

SENIOR ADVISOR



Ricardo Pellerano Nadal is our Strategic Advisor based in Panama, providing strategic planning and management consulting support to the Firm. He also serves as advisor to the Firm in the areas of banking and finance, capital markets, and M&A transactions.

  • Ricardo is a lawyer and former investment banker who, prior to joining the Firm, was the Institutional Funding Manager at one of the leading banks in Central America. In that capacity, he was part of the Financial Institutions and Treasury & Investments team, which managed the relationships with international financial institutions and raised institutional funding through various types of debt financings, as well as negotiating other types of financial products and services.

    Throughout his career, he has participated in financial transactions in the aggregate of over US$13.4 billion through bond issuances, syndicated and bilateral loans, private placements, project finance and other types of structured transactions. He has also advised clients on multiple cross border corporate deals, particularly sell-side and buy-side M&A, on an aggregate transaction value of over US$3 billion.

    Prior to becoming a banker, Ricardo spent several years as a lawyer at major law firms in Washington, D.C. and the Dominican Republic, where he gained meaningful experience in collaborating with senior executives and management teams in the establishment of their companies’ operations in the Dominican Republic and other Central American countries, as well as providing them with business development assistance to engage with potential partners, clients and/or public entities.

  • Ricardo received his Bachelor of Laws from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra and completed his LL.M. in General Legal Studies, with focus on international business, financial law and law firm management, from Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C. He has also participated in financial law and business certificate programs from the London School of Economics and Harvard Business School.
